JANET FOUTTY TO JOIN WHAM AS A SENIOR ADVISOR 

Bringing Transformative Leadership to Drive Innovation and Investment in Women’s Health

GREENWICH, Conn. (January 6, 2025) Women’s Health Access Matters (WHAM) is proud to announce that Janet Foutty, former CEO of Deloitte Consulting and Executive Chair of Deloitte, will join the organization as a Senior Advisor. With her unparalleled experience in business leadership, technology innovation, and organizational transformation, Janet will bring invaluable insights to WHAM’s mission of advancing investment and innovation in women’s health. 

WHAM is committed to addressing systemic disparities in women’s health through groundbreaking research, collaborative partnerships, and strategic investment. Janet’s appointment as Senior Advisor underscores WHAM’s dedication to engaging influential leaders to amplify its impact and achieve its ambitious goals for transforming the landscape of women’s health.

Janet Foutty is a renowned leader and a trailblazer in promoting equity across industries. In addition to her 33-year tenure at Deloitte, Janet currently serves as a board member at Quiver Biosciences, Insight Enterprises, Argonne National Laboratory, and The Chicago Network, and is currently a leadership fellow at the University of Chicago.  She is also Chair of Bright Pink, a nonprofit dedicated to the young women’s breast and ovarian health. Janet is the co-author of the best-selling book Arrive and Thrive: 7 Impactful Practices for Women Navigating Leadership, which underscores her commitment to empowering women.

As WHAM expands its initiatives, Janet Foutty will play a critical role in shaping the 3Not30 strategies.   WHAM’s 3Not30 campaign is a multi-year effort to increase awareness about women’s health research and accelerate investment in sex-based research and investment over the next three years. Several of the 3Not30 goals are: 

  • Double federal and private investment in women’s health research. 
  • Increase inclusion and representation of women in clinical trials. 
  • Advance innovation through collaborative public, private, and academic partnerships. 

WHAM remains dedicated to achieving health equity for women through transformative research, investment, and advocacy. Janet Foutty’s leadership will further propel WHAM’s efforts to quantify the economic impact of investing in women’s health and ensure that this vital area receives the attention it deserves.
